Privacy Policy
SF Rec Tennis is designed to work without an account and without sending personal data to the extension developer.
Information stored on your device
The extension stores your settings in Chrome's local extension storage. These may include favorite court identifiers, filter and sorting choices, a preferred address and its coordinates, notification preferences, and reservation reminders. This information stays in your Chrome profile and is not sent to the extension developer.
Information sent to other services
When you type in the optional distance-sorting address field, the text you enter is sent to Photon to provide address suggestions. When you save an address, it is sent to Nominatim to obtain coordinates. Those services may receive technical information normally included with a web request, such as your IP address. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies.
The extension requests public court and availability information from rec.us so it can display availability-related features. Your direct use of rec.us, including sign-in and reservations, is governed by rec.us and is separate from this policy.
Website access
The extension runs on rec.us pages to read court and availability information shown there and add its controls. It does not collect your rec.us credentials, payment details, or reservation form contents, and it does not send page contents to the extension developer.
Notifications
If you create a reminder, Chrome stores the reminder locally and schedules a local notification. Selecting a notification opens the relevant rec.us page. The extension does not send reminder data to the extension developer.
Analytics, advertising, and sale of data
The extension does not include analytics or advertising, and the extension developer does not sell or share your information for advertising.
Retention and deletion
Locally stored settings remain until you change them, clear the extension's data, or uninstall the extension. Address queries sent to third-party services are subject to those services' retention practices.
Children's privacy
SF Rec Tennis is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. The extension developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the extension's behavior changes. The effective date above will be revised, and material changes will be noted in the relevant release.
